Baltimore and Arlington Immigration Courts

  • Effective March 16 and through April 10, all hearings (Master & Individual) at the Baltimore Immigration Court and Arlington Immigration Court are postponed.
  • Clients and attorneys will receive notices for new hearing dates at least 10 days before rescheduled dates.

Maryland State Courts

  • All hearings scheduled between March 16, 2020 through April 3, 2020, are postponed and courts are closed to the public except for certain matters involving:
    • Domestic Violence,
    • Extreme Risk Protective Orders,
    • Peace Orders,
    • Emergency Evaluation Petitions (such as emergency custody or guardianship petitions for clients who may be about to turn 21 years old Special Immigrant Juvenile Status).

    USCIS

USCIS

  • All in-person appointments at all USCIS offices are now suspended until at least April 1, 2020, which includes:
    • USCIS Baltimore (or the “Baltimore Field Office”) (including: interviews, infopass appts, naturalization ceremonies, etc)
    • Washington Field Office in Fairfax, VA (same)
    • Asylum Office in Arlington, VA and
    • Application Supports Centers (“ASCs”) (perform biometrics/fingerprints).
      • When USCIS again resumes normal operations, USCIS will automatically reschedule Application Support Center appointments due to the office closure. If you do not receive a new appointment notice by mail within 90 days, call 800-375-5283
